IAC2012

I was at 63rd International Astronautical Conference from 1st to 5th of October in Naples, Italy. As an astronomy person it was a really interesting experience for me. Joining to a special session of headquarters of the best space agencies; meeting with many space people from companies to young professionals, professors to media people... I also met with many Space Generation Advisory Council colleagues besides our Middle East Regional Coordinator (and my best friend) H. Aziz Kayihan.

Nevertheless as usual I was assigned with a volunteered position with relatively more astronomy related topic than all other things; World Space Week! World Space Week is celebrated every year 4-10th of October, all over the world. If you would like to get more information about it, please click here!

Apart from WSW events, I had the chance to know about Robert A. Heinlein and Heinlein Prize Trust. Unfortunately I haven't read any of his books but I definitely will, as soon as possible! I strongly advise you to have a look at Heinlein Prize Trust Page, especially if you are or if you know a teacher who is willing to teach space to middle class students. Under their education section (or simply by clicking here), you will find a lesson plan fro teachers!
