EPSC - 2013

I had the privilege to present our (E. Budding, G.Gunduz, M.E.Ozel, A.Solmaz) poster  about "Biospheric Energization and Stability" at European Planetary Science Congress 2013, held in London.

This was my first time in ESPC. It was an astonishing meeting with all those top quality presentations, despite the poor organisation. 

6th meeting on Hot Subdwarf Stars and Related Objects

I was at the 6th meeting on Hot Subdwarf Stars and Related Objects, organized by the Steward Observatory and the University of Arizona, held in Tucson, Arizona, United States, from May 19-24, 2013. 

I gave my first talk during my PhD in an international meeting. Such an excitement! 

Besides all, my object, PG1544+488, was an important point of interest during the meeting.

I am indeed very glad to see that sdO/B people are such like-minded.

This was also my first time in USA and first time visiting a desert. 

Life of Galileo

"The Life of Galileo", by Bertolt Brecht, in a new version by David Hare, performed by the Greenwood Players at the Armagh Observatory. It was a unique experience for all of us to witness the life of such a scientist from Brecht's perspective, especially in such a historical place.

Sickness

It was for a month only but it has been 3 months that I am in Ankara. I guess my doctors were really fond of me so that I also stayed at the hospital for a while. No worries, I am better now, thanks to medicine, but still no reason is known for all this pain.
